Grounding- an essential part in life
The concept of grounding might be defined in many different ways:
New Oxford American Dictionary
grounding |ˈgroundi ng | |ˈgraʊndɪŋ| |ˈgraʊndɪŋ|
noun [in sing. ]
basic training or instruction in a subject : every child needs a good grounding in science and technology.
Wikipedia:
- Grounding (film), about the collapse of the airline Swissair
- Grounding (punishment), restrictions placed on movement or privileges
- Symbol grounding, a problem in cognition and artificial intelligence
- “Grounded”, from the 1990 album And the Horse They Rode in On by Soul Asylum
- Ship grounding, a type of marine accident

I will try to define the concept of grounding like a process that eventually will lead to a state of being grounded.
What is significant for the state of grounding? What does it take to reach a state of being grounded?
This blog will focus a lot on ways of inviting grounding and practising grounding in every day living and in special training.
The concept of grounding, in my definition will include not only the relationship between our body and the ground but also psychological grounding, relational grounding and also existential grounding.
